Google treats review volume and recency as a major ranking signal. Businesses with 50+ reviews and an average of 4.0+ stars consistently outrank those with fewer reviews. Responding to every review — positive and negative — signals active business management to Google's algorithm.
Is your NAP data consistent across the web?
NAP stands for Name, Address, Phone number. Google cross-references your GBP listing against hundreds of directories (Yelp, Yellow Pages, Apple Maps, etc.) to confirm your business information is consistent. Inconsistencies — even small ones like "St." vs "Street" — erode your local authority.
